Here is a blueprint of another method of installation of the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System on existing homes:

Video of wall construction to seal off around porches, steps, decks, or elevated footings.

This photo is a wall we built to seal off under elevated garage footings.

This front porch did not have to be removed to properly waterproof this foundation.

Here is a photo of the finished step after we removed the old tile and replaced it with 3/8" thick paving brick.

This photo is the completed Stone job.  I didn't get any picture of the before, but it looks much better now than it did before we got there!  Even better, they now have a dry, healthy basement!

This is a video of the completed job.  Homeowner was pleased!

Homeowners, Larry & Dianne Stone, who HAD a severe wet basement, said this about my system:

We were experiencing severe water problems in the basement of a rental house that we have. I had talked to others about solutions, but no one seemed to have a system that would solve the issue. Then someone told me that I should contact Jody Parks and allow him to show us the system that he uses to waterproof a basement. I met with Jody and immediately felt comfortable with his system... and the amount of detail that he shared with me. During the entire process Jody was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions.

To dig out and waterproof an existing basement is a big project, but I was amazed how quickly this was accomplished by Jody and his team. I would recommend his company to anyone needing this service. In addition he is an excellent Mason and did some additional Masonry work for us on this project which enhanced the look of the house.

It was a pleasure to do business with Jody and you can count on him to finish the job on time and on budget. Jody thanks so much for your help!

Three inches of hard rain no problem!!!

Larry and Diane Stone.

This method is proven to be effective.  After 13" of rain in a 5 day period, our homes repaired using this method were bone dry with low humidity!!!

Here are some pictures and videos of one of our many existing homes we have repaired using the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System.

This job was completed for Larry and Dianne Stone.

"Why is my basement leaking?"

Dan does a great job proving that ALL the water needs to stay OUTSIDE your foundation walls!  If you are considering using an interior waterproofing system, you need to understand something...they allow water to come INSIDE your foundation walls which corrode block walls and weaken the cement used in building your foundation!  On top of all that, the soil outside your foundation walls is still saturated causing hydrostatic pressure which can cause your foundation walls to crack, bow, and possibly collapse!!  Here are some pictures of some homes we have inspected with cracks cause by hydrostatic pressure!

"But I have porches and decks around my home, won't we have to remove them to repair my wet basement?"

"My foundation has cracks like these.  Does my foundation have to be replaced?"

NO!  With 30+ years of foundation experience, we can actually straigten your foundation walls back and reinforce them to bring them above and beyond even today's building code!  Excavation on the exterior of the wall must be completed in order to relieve the pressure and straigten the walls.  Click HERE to see how we do this!

"Won't we destroy my yard?"

Yes, however, all licensed installers of the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System are professional landscapers!  When we leave, your yard will be properly graded, reseeded or sodded, and professionally landscaped, looking better than it did when we left!

These pictures were taken the first day of excavation at Baptist Home Church:

...and here are pictures 10 days later:

"How much does it cost to repair an existing foundation that leaks?"

The average existing home we repair is usually around $5,500.  In most cases this includes removal of shrubs, excavation below the footings of the foundation, prep walls for new waterproofing, install new waterproofing membrane, install the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System, compact backfill, grade, install new landscape, and sow or sod yard.

"Aren't interior systems less expensive?"

NO!!!  In 90% of our existing home bids, we beat our competitor's interior waterproofing systems by as much as 40%!!  Our competitors that install interior systems are usually in and out in three days with no heavy equipment.  Our repairs are completed using heavy equipment and usually about five days to complete.  We DON'T rip people off making rediculous profit margins.

"Which is better, interior, or exterior systems?"

Of course I'm going to tell you my exterior system is far superior in many ways, but any inventor would tell you the same, so I ask you to do this to be fair... call ANY contractor, building inspector, engineer, or architect and ask them if it is better to allow water to flow through your foundation walls or keep all the water completely OUTSIDE your foundation walls and see what they tell you.  Then show them the blueprint of my waterproofing system and ask them what they think about it compared to an interior system!

Here is a comparison of the  two systems:

Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System

1. Lifetime Warranty.

2. Cost-Effective.

3. Keeps water OUTSIDE of foundation wall protecting your foundation from block corrosion caused by acidic rain water.

4. Keeps walls completely bone dry inside and out.

5. Lowers humidity levels in basement keeping water away from the OUTSIDE of your foundation walls.

6. Eliminates hydrostatic pressure.

7. Drains ground water and surface water around foundation RAPIDLY away from structure BEFORE it even reached the EXTERIOR of your foundation wall.

8. Uses gravity (which NEVER fails) to exit water.

9. Completely maintinence free.

10. Uses no electricity.

11.  Does not require interior slab that supports. the base of the foundation to be removed.

12. Eliminates any risk of foundation corrosion.

13. Can be installed on ANY home or structure.

14. Does not need a dehumidifier.

15. Can repair foundation walls that are damp and not running water into the basement.

16. Does not require a sump pump.

17. Goes to the source of the problem, which is the water coming from the OUTSIDE of  your foundation walls.  Does NOT "cover" the problem, it actually fixes it!

Interior Waterproofing Systems

1. Lifetime Warranty.

2. Expensive.

3. Allows water into foundation walls accelerating block corrosion and foundation damage.

4. Keeps walls saturated with acidic rain water never allowing them to dry out due to impermeable membrane covering interior walls of foundation.

5. Needs dehumidifier to regulate humidity.

6. Does NOT eliminate hydrostatic pressure, especially toware the top of the wall.

7. Water must saturate soil beginning at the top of grade, soak all the way to the bottom of the wall before one drop of water will come out of the weep holes.  Very slow at draining water.

8. Must have sump pump installed which can fail to exit water.

9. Needs maintinence.

10. Uses electricity that can fail and causes power bill to rise.

11. Requires removal of interior slab which support the base of your foundation walls.  After installation, the slab looks "patched" because new cement must be poured agained the old.

12. Accelerates block corrosion by never allowing walls to dry.

13. Cannot be installed in homes with finished basements without destroying the inside.

14.  Needs dehumidifier to regulate humidity.

15. Does NOTHING for basement walls that are wet or even damp with extreme high humidity.  Water MUST be running in the floor to benefit anything.

16. Makes annoying noise when sump pump activates

17.  Covers your wet, saturated block walls that are slowing corroding and getting weaker with a "pretty" piece of plastic just so you cannot see it.  The problem is still there!

As you can see, common sense, logic, facts, contractors, architects, engineers, and inspectors will all confirm that the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System is far superior in EVERY way to an interior waterproofing system!

Now, check out how rapidly the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System removes water on our latest repair on Baptist Home Church!

Take a look at the pictures below.  This is what happens when water sits at the base of your foundation walls for too long.  While interior systems attempt to drill holes to drain this water, the mortar droppings inside the block cell are NOT pitched toward the weep hole and therefore CANNOT exit 100% of the water.

Take a look at what some more of our existing home customers have to say about their experience with using the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System!

The water system works great, the basement is completely dry. The retaining wall looks great. Thanks for all the hard work you all did to make my grandma's house dry. Great job!

Jody - all the rain we've had lately really put your waterproofing system to the test - and you passed with an A+.....A dry basement!!! We are amazed at the difference it's made in my Mom's house. A special THANK YOU to you and your entire team for everything. You're providing a great service here and I'm sure that you will have much success.

I would like to recommend Parks' Waterproofing Company. I have been having water issues for some time now and called Jody out to take a look at the problem. During his assessment he was able to determine that a much cheaper solution was my best option. I appreciate Jody's honesty and integrity by not taking advantage of the situation and telling me the more expensive option was the only way to fix the problem. His honesty saved me literally thousands of dollars.

After reading a testimonial from Larry Stone about the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System, I gave Jody Parks a call to look at my basement that was leaking bad every time it rained. It was so bad, whenever it would rain , we would have to burn candles everywhere to help get rid of the musky smell, and now after 11 inches of rain in one week there is no smell at all, and my basement is dry! It is just AMAZING! I'm so glad I called Jody because I was very happy with the way Jody and his team treated me (which means a lot). I am also very pleased with the Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing system Jody installed at my home. It really works!

Jody, I just wanted to thank you for all of the hard work that you and your crew did waterproofing my basement wall. My wife and I built our house in 1998 and at that time we felt like we did everything possible to build a solid structure that would last a lifetime. However a couple of years ago we started having issues with a very small wet spot on one of our basement walls. It was nothing significant and would always dry up after a couple of days. This only happened during very heavy down pours of rain, any other time the wall in question was always dry. This went on for approximately 3 or 4 years then all of a sudden one significant storm came and water was running into the basement. This was very disturbing! I thought this must be a freak incident and would never happen again. I was wrong! The next time a very heavy rain came there was the water running in again. At this point I did not know what to do. I was so upset and disgusted that this was happening. The only thing that I was sure of was the existing waterproofing system that was originally used back in 1998 had failed!

I really didn't know who to call or what to do but I did know that you were in the masonry business and may have contacts in the waterproofing business. Once I called you and we began talking about my situation I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you had developed your own waterproofing system. I know your work and I know your reputation and I couldn't wait to have you come out and assess my problem. When you came to the house and we went over the process of what it would take to fix the problem I felt a little overwhelmed. However I knew going in that it would be somewhat of a job and that if I didn't address the problem it would only get worse.

Once you and your guys began work everything went exactly like you had said. Every day I could see the progress and everyday I was glad you guys were here! Once the basement wall was dug out and exposed there was the problem that I couldn't see. The existing waterproofing had deteriorated and was actually holding a pocket of water between the waterproofing and the block. After seeing this I knew I had made the right decision to address this problem. My mind was at ease and I knew that the system that you were installing would give me maximum protection against any future water problems. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate everything you guys did and that I look forward to having a dry basement for many years to come.

Thanks again,

Jody Souther

With all the rain we've been having I can proudly say that my basement is nice and dry thanks to Jody Parks and his crew. Normally I would be vacuuming water day and night with weather like this, but so far not one drop. So great not having to worry. Thanks Jody!!!

Listen to what our customers at Baptist Home had to say:

For many, many years our church has had water to come into the church basement following heavy rains. Throughout the years, the problem has been discussed and addressed and some folks even attempted to correct the problem, but to no avail. A few months ago, the church Facilities Management Technician came into my office and shared how the discussion had once again begun. I shared with him about the work of Jody Parks. I became acquainted with Jody when I attended a class that he taught. I was impressed with Jody and found him to be a "man of his word" ... I told the church that Jody should be contacted and allowed to assess the problem. Jody came, accurately diagnosed the problem and gave the church a written plan of action. The problem has been completely corrected. Not only has the problem been corrected but the outside area has been restored and landscaped to be even more appealing than it was before. We believe that Jody and his team are honest, knowledgeable and the ultimate models of what "customer service" should be. We appreciate that their job was completed only when we were completely satisfied with all of their work. We believe that we received the same service that they would have given to their own church or their own family. We highly recommend Jody and his team to anyone who may need this type of service.
